What does it mean to be Ready verses being Prepared?
In my opinion, being ready means being physically, mental, and spiritually ready for any type of situation. Being prepared implies that one is afraid something will happen and have made physical preparations.
Most who are prepared neglect the mental and spiritual aspects. Having the resources necessary to survive an emergency is great. However, I feel that is only one step on the journey to being ready.

Thank you for your comment. Yes, I believe we are blessed to live in the country we have. I do, however, feel there are some “adjustments” needed. My prayer is that will start to take place soon.
